Position: Usability Designer (XCS-XD)

What We're Looking For:
Usability Analyst, Experience Design
You live and breathe design and analysis. As a Usability Analyst with the Xfinity Digital team, you'll work hands-on with the experience design and insights teams to conduct ongoing evaluation of our digital properties and experiences. You'll be expected to question existing thinking and technology, with a view to making every interaction more intuitive. And we'll look to you to identify new technologies that can improve our work and our lives. Your passion for great user experience is contagious.
What You'll Do:
- You'll interact with various stakeholders, including visual design, development, SEO, content management, product, and marketing and communications teams, among others.
- Evaluate work in flight as well as live experiences to discover opoprtunites for improvement
- Conduct quanitiative and qualitative analyses of experiences and communicate your findings clearly
- Demonstrate understanding of usability and accessibility standards in partnership with visual and interface design disciplines and principles.
- Discover new technology that can improve our work and the lives of our customers
- Advocate for consistency, clarity, and ease of use for our customers.
What You'll Need:
- 2-3 years of usability analysis experience. 5-8+ years related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human factors or related field.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, demonstrating the agility needed to deliver on time and to standard in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on the design of navigation, interaction, and nomenclature systems.
- Elementary technical skillset and a basic understanding of the latest technology and devices to produce effective solutions.
- Working knowledge of user-centered design principles, visual design, and usability research/
- Experience in website personalization a plus/
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
