Minimum Qualifications:   A Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Commercial Art or a Master's degree in a related discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline. College-level lecture and studio course teaching experience, preferred.

 

 

Essential Functions/Duties:
 

  • Teach courses in accordance with college and departmental policies and procedures, as well as Basic Course 
    Information sheets.

  • Prepare and submit timely grade reports and other reports on student performance as may be scheduled or required.

  • Organize class activities and assignments, relating them to the overall student learning outcomes of the course.

  • Provide input and work with other faculty and staff to review, produce and/ or select course-related materials.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 

  • The successful candidate should be skilled in creating media from concept to final delivery and with advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud,including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, specifically with mock-ups, web design and multimedia presentation.

  • Proficiency working in a Macintosh and Windows environment.

  • Adaptive design eye and skill.

  • Knowledge and understanding of principles of curriculum development.

  • The successful candidate should have an innovative and entrepreneurial attitude towards work and projects.
