Preferred Qualifications

As a Presentation and Graphic Designer within Oracle Consulting’s Creative Services organization, you will directly support the Oracle Consulting internal teams to create beautiful, engaging, and compelling communications and sales pitch materials. You’ll specialize in visual storytelling, infographics and data visualization, and creating effective, dynamic presentations. The right person for this role is highly-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, a creative thinker, and thrives on creating high-quality visual solutions for complex concepts and stories. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop visually compelling presentations with strong, cohesive themes and structures

  • Synthesize on-trend design thinking

  • Work in conjunction with Oracle Consulting experts and executives to develop customer proposals and sales pitches

  • Help shape the visual toolkit for Oracle Consulting presentations

  • Develop icons, vector graphics, and custom illustrations within Oracle’s visual style

 

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design or equivalent experience 

  • At least 5 years experience in professional graphic design

  • At least 2 years experience with presentation and infographic design

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

  • Ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written format

  • Creative and conceptual presentation design skills, a strong ability for visual storytelling

  • Strong knowledge of grammar and composition rules required for editing and proofreading material

  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

  • Experience with graphs and charts in Microsoft Excel

  • Comfortable working on Mac OS

  • Ability to work flexible hours if required to support critical deadlines

  • A portfolio demonstrating both visual design experience

  • Excellent customer service, delivery and execution skills

  • Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, logo design, layout, color theory and typography

  • Ability to easily switch between skill sets, projects, and brands

  • Knowledge of grammar and composition rules required for editing and proofreading material

  • Passionate and self-driven attitude with inherent sense of ownership and responsibility to deliver

Member of an expert services team who is responsible for delivering a quality solution in a timely manner, on budget and to a client*s satisfaction. Responsible for delivering a set of services and key deliverables that match customer specifications. Key responsibilities include the development, testing, and launching of marketing programs.

Senior consulting member of the Expert Services team who provides expert services both as an individual and a team member. Takes direction from senior team members and management to ensure quality marketing deliverables for Oracle customers. Has advanced subject matter expertise in marketing programs and campaigns. Has the ability to develop, coordinate, test, and launch standard/advanced interactive marketing programs using the Oracle Marketing platform for on-time, on-budget, and error free project deliverables. Takes an active role in guiding junior team members and leading projects. Can actively manage and resolve customer escalation, project scope issues, and technical challenges. Reviews project requests from clients to determine how to implement using established processes and best practices, or scope production specifications for custom projects.

5+ Years of professional experience. 1-2 Years of email coding experience. Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT 1.0, and JavaScript. Understanding of email design and copywriting. Previous experience interacting with client/customer base.
