Jr. Graphic Designer – Good American, Culver City, CA

You will join a team of seasoned fashion and digital executives and help guide the brand on its rapid growth.

Role Overview:

Reporting to our Senior Graphic Designer, the Junior Graphic Designer will design within an established brand identity system, while pushing the direction forward. Projects include designing marketing emails and printed material for online and retail stores.


Responsibilities:

  • Create on-brand digital creative including but not limited to e-mails, banner ads and social media assets.

  • Create on-brand marketing print collateral including but not limited to in-store signage, billboards, wild postings, postcards & mailers and packaging.

  • Mock-up and resize content on the website including but not limited to homepages, landing pages and campaign pages.

  • Assist in light retouching and color correcting of ecommerce photos, BTS, and other imagery.

  • Traffic images to internal & external stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Help maintain an accurate and current library of brand assets.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience as a Graphic Designer.

  • Previous experience at an agency or high end fashion brand preferred.

  • A creative portfolio that features typography work and creative branding projects.

  • Must have a design talent, including detailed sense of typography, photography, and design layout.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Bridge.

  • Experience with making basic GIFs and video graphics. Familiarity with basic video editing is a plus.

  • Familiar with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures for direct marketing.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.

  • Takes direction and constructive critiques well while also having the ability to work autonomously and provide self-direction when needed.

  • Able to work within GOOD AMERICAN’s standard templates and be able to alter and rework them as necessary.

  • Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in a fast paced environment.

  • Working knowledge of best practices in user interface design, and special design considerations for advertising, and e-commerce elements.
