Responsibilities

We are seeking a strong digital & print Designer to join SmileDirectClub's growing creative team. Our ideal candidate will provide design support and help to get projects and campaigns across the finish line. You live, breath and drink typography, photography and apply design thinking to everything you do. You love technology, know every shortcut adobe has to offer. You know illustrator and indesign like the back of your hand. You take things further without being asked because you strive to find creative and design solutions that are memorable. You have a sense of humor and want to work in a fast-pace environment with other creatives that strive to continue to rase the bar and be on the forefront of creative.

 

Qualifications

It will really make us smile if you have…

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience at an agency, brand or internal creative team.

  • A portfolio showcasing a wide-range of design skills, strong typography and production projects ranging from print, digital, and film.

  • Have a strong skill set and desire to continue to add to your creative tool kit.

  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and creatives to get projects across the finish line.

  • Experience designing for various marketing channels in traditional and digital mediums.

  • Print production and prepress experience.

  • Basic knowledge off HTML, HTML5, CSS and image optimization for digital platforms.

  • Ability to express ideas clearly and confidently while working collaboratively with teams.

  • Desire to help foster a great creative culture and define the look and feel of what is next in design trends.

  • Ability to move from one project to the next without skipping a beat.

  • Ability to work autonomously and with the team- we need people who can execute the ideas of others, as well as collaborate and come up with great ideas on their own.

  • A flexible personality that can thrive in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing start-up company.
