Top Design Sites on our Radar – February Roundup

This month we’re rounding up our favorite sites for designers, creatives and generalists who love learning about the industry. In our list this month we have sites for Type Enthusiasts, Makers and who to watch for in 2020. Let’s get right into it!

  1. TypeWolf – We came across TypeWolf while searching for a typeface and this resource shot right to the top of our list. Started by Jeremiah Shoaf who actually started the site as a fun side project in 2013, the site is now practically his full-time gig. Jeremiah’s industry experience and insight is expansive and impressive to say the least. This is a site you’ll want to bookmark for later. Our favorite page is the Site of the Day which highlights typefaces used online and in brands. Big UPS to TypeWolf on this impressive site.

  2. Etsy 2020 Market Trends – Our second pic on the list actually a fully downloadable 44 page pdf presentation put together by none other than Etsy. On the list, Etsy includes their seasonal predictions, occasion opportunities, the Etsy 2020 color of the year (not to be confused with the Pantone color of the year) and category trends. We found this report to be incredibly helpful to think about how designers can map out their product calendars and also stay in the loop of what is trending in market. Go Etsy!

  3. 2020 GDUSA People to Watch – We love seeing this list come out from the GDUSA of who to watch for in the industry. The talent on this list is greatly diverse and we especially enjoy the partnerships that made it on the list. Our predictions for 2020 – More teams!

What do you see trending right now? Are their helpful resource sites for Creatives that have made it to your daily/weekly reading list? Would love to hear what you’re into by dropping a comment down below.
