The Job

Turner Brand Experience manages and stewards the Turner brand globally. We maintain the Turner brand guidelines and activate the brand with employees, the industry at large, and the public. We are responsible for the corporate digital platforms for Turner and WarnerMedia, including intranet sites, external facing corporate sites (************** and ************************), digital displays and corporate emails and the representation of the brand through design.

The Brand Communications Graphic Designer role will support all functions related to Turner's and WarnerMedia's brand communications for our internal audience of employees. Responsibilities include the creation and design of custom graphics files, assets and communication pieces such as electronic billboards, both static and motion, targeted at employees and prospective employees for the purposes of internal and corporate communications across all Turner offices globally.

A Day in the Life:

*

Meets with the Creative Director, Corporate Communications Writers, Managers, and fellow Designers to determine the objective, direction and scope of design projects

*

Creates quick comps or sketches and tear sheets for directional approval

*

Creates the graphic assets, animations, artwork needed to best accomplish the communications goals of the Corporate Communications team while working with the Creative Director across a variety of media

*

Works with the Platforms Team to ensure on-time, speedy delivery and publishing of the visual assets which might include electronic boards, animations, web banners, etc.

Visually assesses artistic and informational elements and makes sure the client's message is clearly communicated through the design while upholding brand standards

*

Contributes to assessing the need for updating and evolving the visual brand guidelines and the spirit of the Turner brand - Assists in assembling materials needed for the design process (images, photos, logos, fonts, content) and works with outside teams and departments to acquire these

*

Properly maintains file naming conventions, server management, delivery and pre-flighting processes

The Essentials
*

2-5 years experience preferred working in a graphic designer role - 4-year college degree in graphic design or a design related field

*

Drawing, sketching and rapid ideation skills

*

Computer software skills

*

Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and After Effects), Cinema 4D and any other animation applications

*

Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills with ability to meet aggressive deadlines

*

Working knowledge of HTML and web technologies is a plus

*

Experience working with production and fulfillment agencies is a plus

*

This position may require evening, weekend and holiday work

*

There is an expectation in this position to meet deadlines and produce the graphics to the client's communication expectations
